HI there everyone!

I am glad to find this forum..I hope someone can help comfort me or that I may help someone else find comfort in knowing they are not ALONE or crazy for that matter! :-) I have struggled with this problem right after I had my last child..(I have 3) I was perfectly fine feeling ready to go and right before time for me to leave the hospital this weird feeling hit me....my heart raced some and I felt very weak and drained. I had gestational diabetes with all pregancy and figured that may be the cause or my low iron.anemic alot. Well finally after a while Igot a little better. WEll then a few months later BAM that same feeling hits me...weak no energy, felt faint or to the point I may just fall out and die right there. Now everytime I have these spells my heart doesnt always race just sometimes. SOmetimes I will expercience shakes....and have to lay down and finally sleep the spell off. IT has gotten to the point where I just cry and pray feeling so close that I may die soon. Some days I do not have bad attacks....but some days it hits me and man I really do think I am gonna die. I also always am worrying now that if i do anything go anywhere that it may hit me...and I always am scared of when or where a spell might hit me. I would love to just feel half way good or really good for just a day..seems now I never feel good. :-( Hoping someone can offer me some advice...i was told st. johns wort may help me........??? any suggestions I would really appreciate! :-)
Thanks- Dee

Hi Dee

Of course, I would advise you to see your doctor first to make sure there is no physical explanation and that the diabetes or anaemia isn't recurring, but the symtoms you describe are quite common in people with anxiety problems.
