does any one think this sounds like it? I get painful / weak arms and pains in my hands daily on and off.. it's everyday though for a full month now and paracetamol / ibuprofen dont seem to help

It very well could be, try discussing it with your doctor. As you never seem to get a break from your pain its maybe a good idea to look into it. Let me no how you get on :-)
