one stop cramp/sleepy feeling in my right leg and foot sooo uncomfortable :( been like this a few hours

I get a cramp consistently in my left calf, for the longest time I thought it was a blood clot just waiting to get me, thing is I have had it forever! I go through period of not noticing it, or maybe it relaxes? Whatever the case I know it's from me being tense, I try to put my legs up and just stretch them out, massaging the area also helps relax it or you could try an epsom salt bath - they are very relaxing for your muscles. :)

It's a good thing the heart doesn't cramp. ;)

Is it a charlie horse? If you are low in potassium, it can cause these. They usually occur in the calf or in the foot. The feeling can slowly build up over time until the cramp finally hits. They are truly terrible. If it is these, eating bananas helps increase your potassium levels.
