Has anyone successfully been weaned from atenolol???

Please share your story with me. I'm being weaned by doc but need some reassurance

I'm going from 12.5 mg twice a day to once a day. Very low dose to begin with but hate messing with meds

Did u experience any other side effects that you recall. What's your thoughts propranolol

Not on either. Now I take propranolol now but at 20-40mgs(fairly low dose) I do not get side effect and my pulse is only effected slightly. Alankay

Propranolol seems to help with tremor /shaking a bit more as opposed to just a racing heart which atenolol was great for. Alankwak
