I'm slightly freaking out that I have sleep apnea, when I was younger my mom always said I stopped breathing periodically through the night but I never really gave it another thought. Over the past year (give or take) I have noticed occasionally when I am trying to go to sleep that I do a quick single gasp of air and that's all. I have been reading that this could be a sign of sleep apnea, the thing that's confusing me is that it's right before I feel like I would fall asleep, I don't notice myself waking up in the middle of the night gasping? I do however get up often to use the washroom. Ugh...
