Still adjusting

Well about two months ago I left my parents and my home in Florida and moved to Connecticut. I pretty much forced myself to make this decision because my parents house in fl had become my "safe place" and I never wanted to leave. I knew if I stayed like that I would never regain any independence. I am trying my best to stay strong away from them but sometimes it is so hard and I don't know if I can make it on my own. I guess my biggest fear is something happening to me while I am away from them. I know it's stupid but on the inside I still feel like a child even though I'm 26 :(

I bet you'll be OK and I think it's great you're trying. I have found if I can get through the anticipatory anxiety I always can do things I thought I might not be able to. You might have tough times but I bet you'll be OK.
At least you get a break from all the heat and humidity down here.:) Alankay
