Hi!
My name is Nicola but all my friends online know me as Bessy Bumblebee. I am 23 and from Northern Ireland!
I have had problems for many years but was only formally diagnosed just over three years ago now. My anxiety changes day to day and touches on many of the different types there are. Mostly I deal with panic - I just am scared of so many silly things!! I also have out of body type things which I hate. Most people around me date the start of it all back to the death of my mother almost 6 years ago now and they could be right! It was pretty tramatic as she died of Motor Nerone disease! I dont know though - all I know for certain is that I have always been a worryier and have always had real decesion making problems. I also know that while mums death may have started it or made it worse - it was going to university that brought it to a head! Unfortunately it has led to bad spells of depression for me and at the periods I was at my worst even resulted in spells of self harm ... something I am not at all proud of!
I have found a massive lack of support from everyone, including friends, family, my doctor and at the moment especially, my boss and I just need to have access to people who understand - so here I am!
