Diagnosed with GAD

Hello everyone I am new to this but I was recently diagnosed with HAD or panic disorder. Hoping I am not alone in feeling that this is ruining my life. I just feel hopeless and weak because I don't have control over it. I am takin steps to overcome it but it just isn't enough. I am look for some friends to talk to and just help one another out when we need a helping hand because we are trying to beat this together. Thank you
