Shortness of breath when back hurts

Has anyone ever had this?? When I'm walking my back will start to hurt and then I feel kind of short of breath. .. please help

Use to get those all the time. I don't think they are connected tho. I got the shortness of breath because I was freaking out from the pain. Not much you can do other than calm down.
