Sometimes I feel like I concentrate on my breathing too much which in turn makes my breathing labored.

Same here, I get shortness of breath the minute I think about it

Sometimes I feel like I concentrate on my breathing too much which in turn makes my breathing labored.


Same with me. The minute my breathing stops being automatic and becomes conscious, it feels like it goes out of whack. That's why a lot of times deep breathing exercises don't work for me at all.
