Hi I'm new to this but have been having a really bad time since Christmas. I've had anxiety and panic for over 20 years but just before Xmas I was woken in the middle of the night with a very fast heart beat. I wasn't frightened at first just confused, but obviously went into real panic mode when the beat didnt slow down. This lasted for around 15 mins till my husband calmed me down. I've since had it a few times always in the night and the hospital says I'm fine but in my head there's something wrong with my heart. I'm now on beta blockers and they've helped coz when it happens now they only last 5 mins. Does anyone else get this?
