MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level. JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed. It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

There is no overnight cure for anxiwety. It takes months or years for all this stress to build up in the first place. I think people want so badly to get back to normal that any hour or day where they feel fine is a miracle but then the usual pains come and then they start panicking etc. We're our own worst enemy when it comes to reacting to symptoms. We shoudl just let our body repair itself and do as it pleases. Adding secondary worries ontop of an already stressed mind and body just delays the healing process.

Often, but not always, there is "something bothering" us somewhere and why a counselor/psychologist can help. Alankay
