Hi everyone,

got quite a weird question you might be able to help me with.

I cooked a whole chicken today and had a leg and thigh from it which didnt look pink however when I went to carve the rest there was a little blood under one of the breasts..

Now Im freaking out that Ive poisoned myself..

Sometimes in chicken you can get a blood vessel it looks like its not been cooked but it has if the flesh of the chicken was white and not pink you'll be fine

Thanks Sharacel, well Im still alive and feeling good so it must have been okay, feel silly now for freaking out! :-)
