Anyone tried Cymbalta or welbrutin ?

I am hoping to change my medication ASAP as mine is not working for me & I've heard good things about these 2 anti depressants . I just hope my G.P will agree to it . The one I'm on now is making me gain weight & also making me feel so fatigued & I have lost interest in everything & have no desire to do anything at all .

Is anyone here on either of these & if so how do you get on with it ?

Yes that's right I am but it's not working for me at all any more . I feel so bad ATM

No reduction in anxiety and depression by the tca? What side effects did you get?

Yes when I first started it about 18m ago it did help but now it's not & doc has upped the dose & I feel awful , very depressed & very anxious . I am crying constantly & so low , no motivation to do anything . I just don't think it's right & the 2 I've mentioned I've never had & there are no weight gain side effects . I've gain 8lbs & I'm not small so I can't afford to gain more , that just adds to my problems even more :-/

I was initially impressed by my TCA(amitriptyline). But boy this med gives me atleast four nightmares in one night.

im on cymbalta and ive been on them for 6 weeks.... they are very good for my anxiety and i can actually leave the house again... but im having awful heart palps and skipped beats that i feel in my chest all day long and my acid reflux and tum are giving me an awful time .... tried not taking them for 4 days and the palps eased a little but my anxiety returned and my mood is dropping so back on them.....

I am seeing my g,p on Monday & going to ask him if I can give this cymbalta a try . I hope he agrees .
I'm desperate to get my life back . I'm such a mess at the moment . My medication is not suiting me at all .

jessy.... you will feel much better on these they are very good for anxiety and ocd i am just quite sensitive and having palps.... i need to change them but wish i didnt need to.. good luck they take about 3 weeks to kick in stick with it xx

I have to ask my doc on Monday . I have not got them yet . I just hope he will change to one of these for me .
