I am a 30 year old male personal trainer.. and for as long as I can remember I have had depression and anxiety. Been on many diff meds the last 13 yrs.. has been manageable up until 8 months ago. When I left my pregnant girlfriend because I felt so much pressure on me to be this perfect father.. never thought i would turn to drugs to overcome my feelings of lack and discontent with my self..I began to use vicodin on a much needed daily basis to go to work and be "me". I fessed up to taking the drugs that were prescribed to me and admitted that i was addicted to them. Every since then she doesn't trust me anymore with anything. I get to see my daughter once a week for 6 hours and it has to be supervised by my mother I am no animal just a human with a huge heart. Don't know if any one else out there that can relate.
