Hi all,just wondering if anyone else suffers with headaches??I have suffered with headaches for years now.I take propranodol for migraines at present.I see a chiropractor every 2 weeks due to a shoulder injury which has gone but,has moved to my head and neck.This is making my anxiety worse,I am thinking the worst.I have to the doctor,he said they are migraines but I am not convinced,I am thinking of going private for an MRI scan just for peace of mind,thanks in advance for advice.

My husband suffers from migraines due to a neck injury. He's had every kind of testing you can imagine done, and he is fine. He has a bulge in one (neck) area of his spine, and the doctor said it likely causes migraines when it flares. His also seem to correlate with sinus/allergy issues, and he does not tolerate alcohol well (usually gets a migraine the next day, even if he didn't get drunk). Seeing a chiropractor was the only thing that really helped. He did take propranodol a while, but didn't want to take a med every day. He usually takes one excedrin, and uses a heated bean bag on his neck, and that seems to get him to the manageable point. We know for sure his are migraines. Hope this helps!

Hi,thanks for responding.I have seen a chiropractor,and my head is worse!!!!!!!I went with shoulder pain,that pain went,now my neck and head hurt,there is also a burning in my ear,I am worried that it is something worse.

I know some people that have seen bad ones and ended up feeling worse. (they thought I was cuckoo when I said ours helped us so much) Maybe look into a different one?

Hey i felt the same way always headaches and weird pains thought i had something serious wrong with my brain i went to the nuero and i told him i want a MRI done to my head i knew this would give me a peace of mind and he said everything is fine with my brain so just get it done for peace of mind becuz then u know its not ur brain its the anxiety Good luck!!
