Hi. I'm 29 years old and have been dealing with panic attacks this past year. It wasn't until my anxiety came to this point that I realize that I have been living with anxiety most of my life. I always thought I was just a bit different but now understand a bit more of what has been going on. Because of this I am unable to really pin point my triggers and find it difficult to cope with. I experience multiple levels of anxiety on a daily basis and consequently have fairly severe depression because of my lack of self confidence that I will be able to get it controlled. Throughout the past few years I have significantly withdrawn from most people and have isolated myself. I am taking medication and working with a counsellor, but find that from day to day my symptoms are worsening. I recently started back at work to try to keep a normal routine but find that just being there is a struggle. I am looking to connect with others who can relate and hopefully I'll be able to positively influence others that I can relate to. It's uncomfortable being so direct with what's going on but with little social support outside of my immediate family I really hope that this forum with be able to help. It's nice to be here and already a bit of a sigh of relief.
