I am new here, and was just curious about the age of the people writing in the forum. Also - when approx. did your anxiety "start"?

Hi, I'm 34 and had my first anxiety at around 11 or 12. I never really had any issues with anxiety until I was about 20. I went on meds about 4 years ago.

I'm 33. I remember being anxious as a child of age 6 when I was selectively mute and refused to talk to anyone at school for a good year or so. I look at pictures of me as a child, and I look like one of those tree creatures with the big eyes, as if I were just perpetually frightened. :shock:

I am 22, at the age of 19 i thought i had depression, i overcame it 3 - 4 months later, now i am really bad since late August.
