Hello everyone.

This is my very first post on this forum so I'm sorry if I get this all wrong.

I been told by my doctor that I have "mid depression" and I haven't taken that in as a yes yet.

I just feel that I don't have it but I have mood swings quite a lot from being happy to low and I get this bad chest feeling where it feels like nothing..hard to explain and I sometimes self harm because it makes me feel good for a few seconds.

I sometimes get bad thoughts about things like jumping off a bridge or something but I'm not that stupid to do that.

I feel really stupid and I don't know what's going on with me.

I think even if you think your feeling fine you may need something as I thought the same and I've been put on something which is taken the anxiety away which maybe you have a bit of to ? I'm not depressed or down etc do that's why I'm saying you may need something

I'm gonna see if it gets worse

I agree, em1 mentions the exact way I felt, and the improvement with medication is helping me manage the CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) to make it to the balanced thinking level.

Best wishes.
