Valium (Diazepam)

Anyone have experience with this? I was prescribed 2mg but as usual I'm a bit afraid to take it.

MrsJ a doctor gave that to me when I was in the ER over a panic attack and I have to tell you it worked within 20-30min. Prepare to sleep for 12 hours straight, also it is very common so do not worry about it ( think Advil ) :)

Oh I can't sleep like that no way. I am a stay at home mom to a 7 month old, I barely sleep at night for him waking to eat. I have to remain alert. Maybe I shouldn't take it.

You shouldn't be afraid to take it. It's not going to hurt you. 2mg is a very small amount. It won't make you feel dosed up. If you feel very anxious at one point take one and see how you do.

I was prescribed it about a year ago for my constant state of panic. I, like you was afraid to take it as I have a 3 yo. I can tell you it didn't make me feel out of it or "drugged up" as I feared. Just calmed me. I only took it a couple of times tho as it didn't do a lot for me and is addictive.

Yeah didn't notice too much it's a really low dose of 2mg
