Hi everyone. I am just wondering if anyone else has this issue and you can suggest a fix. I started running about 3 weeks ago. I do enjoy it and it definitely helps with depression and anxiety. The only issue..when I start feeling like I'm breathing heavy (which you should feel while running) I have to slow down or I will go into a panic attack. I hate the feeling that I can't breathe. Has anyone had any experience with this ?

you may be low on Vitamin B6 or Iron, both of which can cause hyperventilation.

When I do cardio I feel fine all through out excercise, it's when I stop excercising that anxiety would creep up.

I fixed this through doing cognitive behavioral thinking. When you're starting to feel anxiety just keep sending signals to you mind "I'm fine, I'm OK and not going to die, excercise is good for the body" really bombard your mind with these thoughts. It's literally that simple to fix. Keep doing it until the anxiety from cardio lessens into practically nothing.
