Hi all,just wondered if anyone else wakes up suddenly having a panic attack??I jolted up earlier with a racing heart beat and feeling sick,is this normal??thanks in advance.

Do yu have vivid dreams?
Bcoz, I have very intense vivid dreams I figure my body feels as if it really were in danger and jolts me awake.... unfortunately causing me to wake up with rapid heart beat dizziness and horrible confusion. This has been happening for a few weeks it started shortly after I started citalopram. Are yu on medication?
I believe my fear for being jolted out of sleep by an anxiety attacked has caused me to be very anxious about sleep as I haven't slept in days.
Anyway I hope this issue doesnt persists too long for either of us.

Hi,I am always dreaming about weird stuff,The other night,I dreamt I was choking,then I woke up coughing and I couldn't get my breath.I hate night time,I hardly sleep,I am always worrying about stuff!!!!

Try relaxing when you wake up. Practice it. That way, you may be able to relax your way out of the dream easier. Best wishes.
