Hi my name's Charlie and I'm 25
I've recently been diagnosed with anxiety and panic attacks after spending the past 10 months undergoing various poking and prodding to find out if my breathing problems, chest pain and heart palpitations were asthma or a heart problem.
I'm not sure what anxiety really is as all I got from my gp was 'It's anxiety' and a prescription for propranolol to slow my heart rate down! I'm looking forward to learning more about it from everyone on here :)

Hello Charlie I've been on propranolol on and off for years and it's a really good med for the heart

I agree, propranolol really helps with the heart! But try not to take too many, your first choice is to try and beat the anxiety altogether

That's good to know - I'm not really feeling any better on it yet but it's only been a couple of weeks so hopefully it will get into my system soon :)
