Hi everyone,

Has anyone taken a medication and have just thought it worked great for anxiety or did anxiety rear it's ugly head still. Please let me know of your experiences on different medications.

Hello Chloe :) I'm on 50g sertraline (Zoloft) I've only been on it for five weeks and it's helping loads,this is the first time I ever been on anything and I've had panic attacks for 21 years,(they come and go) are you on anything ? Or are you thinking that you want to? I allways think don't read to much about Negative experiences I think if you want to try a Med then you have to make it a mind up as what works for someone won't work for another,also it takes a few weeks to work so Patient is key :)

I'm currently on 30mg of Lexapro & 15mg of Avanza & I can feel myself sinking and the anxiety coming back. It's really stressing me out and taking its toll on me. I don't feel like I have found 'the right' medication for me the one that makes me feel like myself again!

The next one I wanted to try was Zoloft so weird you're on it I think it's a sign lol! Did you have many side effects on it?

I wish I could be patient but I've been doing this for a year chopping and changing medication and I still don't feel any closer to the end. So over it I'm sure you can tell.

Anyways I hope your doing well and Zoloft works for you!

The only thing I had was I felt out of it the first day I took it and bit foggy headed the first week but then it may not have been the Meds as I was not eating at all or sleeping well do that could have added to it lol
I have felt fine on it,I know loads of people that have had a gr8 success on this I would say it's well worth a go if you feel like the ones your on are not doing anything for you :)
