Sorry it's an off topic, strange question, but I can't help but notice; at the bottom of the main forum page it shows who has a birthday on that day. Often takes my attention that many of them have similar patterns, letters and numbers in their username, and also the exact same age, upon a little 'nosey' also noticed none of these members have ever posted. Seems a little strange to me, was it an attempt to boost membership or something? Does anybody know?

You recognizing patterns in the numbers and letters in the usernames reminded me of the movie. Solid flick, you should watch it.

Nope my bday was a few days ago and it appeared on site and I am an active member :P But if you don't allow the site to display the entire age then you won't appear on the bday section at the bottom of the screen

Just as an example, on the 20th of June there were birthdays for these three members qtnco01 (29), qtnco03 (29), QTNCO04 (29), just appeared a little strange to me that they are all so similar and none of them have posted, seems a bit pointless to register three names for no reason.

I agree, beautiful mind is a pretty good film. Based on a true story too.

Most of these names are either spam accounts run by bots to either try and spam or slow down the forum. The software usually picks up on it though. Sometimes by rival websites.

Forum wars anybody?
