I've decided to use a dating website as I feel lonely and want to be with someone.

I started chatting to someone and he seems nice, he gave me his number and he said to message him, to which I replied that I didn't feel comfortable giving out my number yet. He was fine about it and he has continued to chat online.

What are your opinions on dating websites? I am really anxious about it and my mind works overtime but he seems genuine?

Hello :) my friend has been on a few dating websites and has gone on quite a few dates,she's allways had a fun time,nothing Serious as yet but she's having fun,I think your right in not giving out your number

I think its a bad idea I used to virtual date on this site and as good as it feels u can not deny the fact that it's just going to make u feel bad eventually since u cant have sex with each other also its awful cz u might be sincere wid him not seeing any real guys but hey....he's a guy after all. Also what ppl are online might not be the same in real a very talkative person might be v. Shy in real but yessss online dating feels good until u get all possessive and serious just for fun its a good thing I cud recommend a few sites lol
