What music do you listen to when youre depressed?

I don't know why, but every time something bad happens I listen to old school 90s alternative music, usually NIN, Nirvana or Smashing Pumpkins. Then I get even more depressed because of the lyrics and because I'm so old that most people don't even know who Trent Reznor is anymore. I hate going through changes. I hate seeing the world around me change. Nothing good ever lasts and things are just happening way too fast. I'm afraid to feel happy because every time I relax it seems like done thing bad happens again.

I listen to very uplifting Christian music to lift my spirits. It's even good to listen to when you aren't depressed.

I tend to listen to old 80's music...mostly mj and prince...idk kinda reminds me of childhood when things were easier
