Hey... I'm new. :) Name's Celly, I'm 28, unemployed, and live with my parents. Just like George Costanza. :/
So, I just got insurance at the beginning of June, and I'm finally trying to get treatment for my issues. I've had social anxiety my whole life, I've been having panic attacks since... at least 2011, and since last December, I realize that I'm developing agoraphobia. It didn't become clear to me until my doctor basically said, "You haven't gone anywhere or seen anyone except your parents for 6 months?" and I was all, "So? What's wrong with... oh."
I'm on Celexa and Buspar, which keep me just above being actively suicidal... but I still can't go outside unless I'm with one or both of my parents.
