[Anxious Abi]

There she is, sitting on the edge,
daring herself to jump off this ledge.
The darkness clawing at her back.
Her whole world is turning black.
All she wants is to feel safe,
find her true place.
She yearns to feel, love, lust and longing,
a real sense of belonging.
When she looks into your eyes,
all that fear suddenly subsides.
Your touch calming her soul,
stopping the past from taking it's toll.
For the first time a smile crosses her face,
she feels at home in your warm embrace.
Now she's feeling so strong,
she realizes she had it inside her all along.
