Hi everyone Im Matthew and Im 30. I have been dealing with my anxiety for a few years and its so bad i can barely walk to the street without having a bad attack. i am on lexapro right now and it helps but not much. I know a lot of it is on me and the meds aren't going to fix it. i try to go for walks everyday and i get a few feet further everytime. well thought i would join because it seems like there is alot of great people here and amazing advice.

Matt, if you been on that dose of lexapro longer then say 2-3 months I ask about a higher dose or a trial of another ssri. Just a thought and keep up trying to desensitize yourself. Alankay

Welcome Matthew :) this is such a gold forum I've only been here a few weeks myself and everyone is so Friendly and gives each other loads of Support which is fantasic as you know your not going mad or that your not alone is feeling like this :)

thanks for the welcome guys and gals. and welcome also vannie05. i have tried a few different meds and all made me feel like a total zombie so the lexapro is what i feel best with.
