Hey, I also take Venlafaxine prolonged release, 150mg daily. I have been taking it for a few years and it has helped with my panic attacks, I get them less frequently and a little less intense, although I find if I accidentally miss taking it for a day, I am an emotional wreck.
I too hope that one day we can all overcome this.
Abi.

The only way i can describe it was hot feeling round my whole body as if i was boiling from the inside the feeling was as if i had general anthestetic pumped in me now on slow releaseing and baby dose 37.5mg a day but am paranoid of the actual tablets now incase i get same reaction any advice?

It's weird how different medications can affect people so differently, I wonder how they decide what meds to put us on in the first place? Anyways...
You said that last time you were on the quick release? I've never experienced the quick release type, but I would think the prolonged release would affect you differently, it isn't all pumped into your body all at once, it slowly releases over time instead.
I would watch out for any reaction and just keep your Dr informed, side effects don't tend to be too serious, so I wouldn't worry yourself too much about it, easier said than done, I know.
