Many people who've overcome their issues with anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues want to help others with mental health problems. They may become mental health professionals, for example.

However, some individuals who want to help others need to realize that they must be realistic when it comes to making a difference in other people's lives. There are those who want to go out and save the world. Then they work in the mental health field for a while and reality slaps them across the face.

When try to help others, be positive, and be motivated to help others. But be realistic. Some people you can't help.

If you can't be realistic, then your just going to burn yourself out. And if you're burned out try to help others, how will you be able to help others?
