Can having allergy issues aka: sore throat irritated nose etc cause your pulse to be in high 90s, if its that high for me I get quite anxious because I'm on beta blockers.

I don't think so but anything you take for allergies will definitely raise it.

I'm on metoprolol and my heart rate occasionally hits the 90s or even 100s at times, depending on what I'm doing and if I'm feeling anxious. Have you tried taking a few deep breathes and laying down for a few minutes?

Hi Blessed. I take atenolol it's a Beta blocker and my heart beat sometimes is still in the 100.
I used to worry and check my pulse all the time but now I stop doing it. Normal is up to 100. Anxious person always has a higher heart beat.
You are still in the normal range. Without your medicine you pulse is probably over 100.
Don't obsess too much. You are safe believe me
