Cyprolex

I'm on 10mg of Cyprolex daily. My dr has really tried for me take 20. I refuse.

When I started Cyprolex about 3 years ago I did with my dr saying I'd only be on it for a year. And I only took 0.5mg.

I want to quite. I'm thinking taking it every other day till I can just stop.

I do have Clonazepam for when I have an attack to calm. My dr says if I increase my Cyprolex than I won't need Clonazepam. I'd much rather take something when I need it than everyday.

Opinion?

If you're not needing the klonopin say once a week.... OK. But if more stay on the AD longer. The less you can use the klonpin the longer it will work well(drug tolerance) but if you don't use it too often it(tolerance) won't have time to develop. Even with the AD you may need the klonopin .... but less often. Which is good. Alankay

I'm on celexa now.. Was on Cipralex before and it didn't work out. Your dosage is really low though. And I'm always hesitant to take ssri's . I go of and on them. My Doctor says the same about taking the right ssri should reduce your use of Benzos... But benzos work better. I prefer to find a point to stop ssri's ... And stay on benzos of I need it. I think doctors try to push ssri's because benzos can be addictive. I say do want feels right for you.
