I used to think that getting out of bed would make my heart rate go up but now I realize that it is the anticipation of talking to other people.

I'm like that too. I find that if I get out of bed on a weekend or on a day where I don't have to interact with people in public, I'm a lot less anxious then I am on a Sunday night before school the next morning. When I get out of bed on school mornings I'm fine until the minutes leading up to going to school. My heart rate kicks up and my depersonalization disorder spikes up too. What is key though is to push through it. My doctor tells me that even if I get up and go to school or out into stores anxious as heck that it's okay and I must appreciate the simple fact that "Hey, I got out of bed today and I challenged my anxiety". :) You should do the same! As uncomfortable as it may seem or as anxious as you may be, take some deep breaths keep on keepin' on. It may be tough, and to me it reeeeeally is, but even if just seems like baby steps, it's still progress in tackling the anxiety! :)
