Anxiety and Pregnancy

Hi I am new to this forum and I am so glad that there are people out there that suffer like I do. At least now I know I am not going crazy. My question is: Has anyone dealt with anxiety while pregnant???????? If so what did you do about it?
I plan on getting Pregnant in about 2 yrs so I am weening off my meds and I am down to 37.5 effexor and was down to .5mg Alprazolam but now I am back up to 1mg of Alprazolam cause the attacks are back and increasing. It is so frustrating. I just started seeing an Anxiety councellor and he seems to really know his stuff and actually care which is nice for a change.

omg yes!! i never had anxiety in my life until i became pregnant and it became very very bad i didnt even wanna leave my house, i also had bad derealization but dont worry there is hope...lol it was really crazy the day i had him my anxiety was sooooo much better i still have panic attacks and it is a daily struggle but you just hafta realize that the more you give into them and let them run your life the more they will. how far along are you?[/quote][/code]
