Quick question.. I'm taking Klonopin .5mg, as needed, sometimes i'll cut it in half.. but I've usually been taking it at least once daily, sometimes 2x. Are headaches one of the side effects?

I didn't have headaches until after I started taking it.. so just wondering. It's constant mild pain throughout the day, around my eyes, the very bottom of the back of my head, and neck. I know it sounds like a tension headache, but was wondering if Klonopin might be causing it. Sometimes I'll feel like a weakness in my leg muscles and arms.. don't know what that's about either but I don't freak out about it, I try to dismiss it and sometimes take a benzo and it seems to go away. I also have trouble staying asleep. I'm lucky if I get 3 or 4 hours a night, wake up around 3:30 am and cannot fall back asleep. Otherwise I'm fine.. I know I still have anxious feelings throughout the day but I feel like I'm managing it pretty well, even when I don't take the med.

Anyone else have this issue?

I take klonopins occasionally and do not suffer from headaches due to it. Yours could be due to different problem. Bad posture or long hours of computing perhaps?

It must just be a tension headache then. I've had head and neck pain and trouble sleeping for over a week, so it must all be anxiety induced. Or at least I'm trying to convince myself of this

I have the same problem! I take Klonopin basically about the same amount as you described. And sometimes I feel myself getting weird headaches and they make me feel more anxious and I end up taking more Klonopin to get rid of the feeling and basically make me not care about it. I know anxiety causes tension headaches but I don't know if the Klonopin actually causes it too! It's so uncomfortable and frustrating to me.
