Hi all,
it's only been 5 days since the switch so I'm aware I may just be going through some common transitional side effects but I guess I'm posting for re-assurance. I started out at 12.5 the first few days and just moved up to 25 2 days ago. Basically, the past couple mornings (and whole first half of my day) I've been feeling unusually low and blah... no worsening of anxiety or agitation thank god, but just low.
I'm wondering if this is a common side effect in the first couple weeks or so, (to making an SSRI switch in general) or if it's maybe because I was on 5mg Lexapro before and am not taking only 25 mg Zoloft (which is the equivalent of only 2.5 lex and is ultimately a very low dose)
do most usually start that low? I am hypersensitive to meds so I understand why I i'm starting low, I'm just wondering if this is what's cauing the low and down feeling and if it's too soon to ask my doc if we can go up faster?
