If it wasn't for racing pulse I think I could handle anything else it threw my way. I hate this part of it.

It creates more problems for me because I can sit still and relax or breathe bc my pulse has got me wired and this makes my stomach go nuts. I can't truly relax until my stomach is calm.

Hi Jamus

I used to have that Palpitation used to go up to 150. I am taking .25 milligram of atenolol and it helps control the palpitation esp now that my anxiety is back in full force. Even when I get the panic attack the pulse is high but not more than 150 anymore

Hi my medical doc wants me on atenolol but my head doc wants me on Paxil. Not sure who to believe so I went with Paxil. Maybe I'll end up taking them both.

Nobody hates the "Oh shit, i think I'm about to faint!" aspect? I can take the palps and racing heart (I pop a beta blocker) but the "light-headed, dizzy, I'm about to cause a scene is what scares the hell out of me.

Mine is the dizzy and lightheaded feeling. It made me panic . Also very nauseous when I'm anxious

I just got a heart rate watch today n I feel so much better I know how to lower by hearts bpm faster. At first I was freaking out I was sitting n I was at 100 bpm then I did breathing stuff n I was at 70s 80s. Thn I ran like a maniac n I was at 158 bpm n stopped n it lowered to 63 after 20 mins. N when I walk I'm at 90s. Danger point is like 200

Definitely palps are the worst!! I go full on panic mode when my heart races for no reason, makes me want to jump out of my own skin. Thank God it doesn't happen often to me..
