View Full Version : How long to reverse a constant state of unrest?

I can't for the life of me calm down :((
It was getting a little better for a while but now it's like it's worse.
Every time I lay down more than maybe 10-15 minutes, I'll tense up so bad from my hypnophobia that I will literally hurt.
I still seriously think I have an adrenal malfunction but it's like the doctors don't listen.
What anxiety sufferer gets tired to the point of nearly dropping yet the body pumps adrenaline like crazy?

I'm in a constant state of unrest. I can't function like a normal person. I had to drop school for now.
This didn't get this way overnight. It crept up over the course of more than a year. It went from occasional panic attacks, to recurring panic attacks, to eventual non-stop fear.

So how can I get this fight-or-flight response on the way back down and how long might that take?
First step, anyone?
