My lexapro ( citalopram) was increased from 15 to 20 mgs on Thursday and I thought I had a miracle because I felt great for 4 days, but on the 4 th day I was just super energized and didn't
Feel comfortable with all this energy so I backed down to 15 mgs and today I felt sluggish and felt
Anxiety symptoms again
Waiting and waiting for my dr to call is real torches , so I want to know if anyone here has felt this with lexapro.... Confused

Maybe try 10mg in the AM and 10mg approx. 12 hours later in the PM to avoid the highest blood level of the med. This may lessen the effect you notice. If this is really bad stay at 15mg though. It may pass though but wait for your doc to instruct you on this. Alankay

Thanks, I'll run this past my doctor. I did feel good though and didn't have any attacks at all...Oh Well!
It's just so frustrating because when you read the information packet with your prescription and it shows
all side effects, the side effects are the same as the anxiety attacks. How do you tell the difference

It sounds like perhaps this medication might not turn out best for you when you have tried it for s while. Don't despair though we all have trouble with getting tablets and doses right and then perhaps have to change again. Hope your Dr has phoned back and helped you. It is so frustrating waiting for people to ring to help.
