Meds while breast feeding

Hi everyone, I am new here... I am wondering if anyone has any experience with being on anxiety medals while breast feeding? I have really bad anxiety and an occasional panic attack and after having a bad experience with Zoloft I never took another anxiety med. Well I had really awful anxiety before I got pregnant then it went away pretty much while I was pregnant but its now back. My son is 4 months and I am exclusively breast feeding... I really want to try another anxiety med as I am sick of feeling this way and not getting to enjoy my son fully! I've asked my doctor but he just blows me off about it and says to just breathe and control it. YEAH RIGHT! Easier said than done! Has anyone ever taken an anxiety med while breast feeding?

I have a 9 month old and while pregnant and breast feeding I took Buspar which is considered safe. Ask your doctor about it.
