I know that this question is of course all dependent upon each individual person, but if all of my anxiety, worries, fears and stress were to disappear today, , how long could I expect for my symptoms to linger for? I have been sick for about 2 months now, , and I don't experience anxiety or stress everyday, , although I do almost every day... but my symptoms for the most part do not come and go, , so my question is, how long? am I looking at days, , possibly weeks? What are your guys thoughts??

I haven't had any heart palps or skipped beats in over a year. Maybe one here and there but that's it. Today they just reappeared and have had probably 20+. I'm not panicky or stressing anymore than I was yesterday. They just showed up after dinner and happening still at this time. Has to be the worst / most fearful symptom there is.

I know that s the problem any symptom u get u find it unconvincing to relate it to anxiety
I feel the same too I m currently having pain in my tummy that comes and goes and I strongly believe it s something very serious
I had a session with my cbt therapist and I told her convinced that I m ill and I urgently need to see my GP
She sat there and rationalised with me in such way that it made sense at the end
Plz look at the symptoms of anxiety and u will be amazed
Drink a lot of water eat raw ginger before meals if u can it helped me
Or try anti-sickness tablets I don't like them because they make me dizzy and sleepy

my symptoms are nausea, lack of appetite, fatigue, mild abdominal discomfort and digestive issues... I feel sick every day for the majority of the day.

Every1 gets different symptoms that will rise every time u worry
They will last as long as your anxious and not doing anything to make things better
Try deep breathing eat small portions regularly
Eat a lot of veg and fruit exercise etc
When it all started I had great difficulty eating anything I was sick to my brains
I would put the food in my plate I will sit there for half an hour staring at it then put it back in the microwave
Now I m a lot better but I do feel sick sometimes especially when I panic about a physical sensation i simply don't feel like eating

My symptoms are feeling really funny and out of it, dumb stares, chest pressure and burning, headaches and head pressure, muscle aches in back, leg cramps, feeling like I'm crawling out of my skin, and feeling so very tired like I have the flu or something. Most of these come and go throughout the day but some don't go away and I hate waking up in the middle of the night feeling shaky and racing pulse!!

Anxiety and depression cause so many different symptoms for different people. I only get anxiety and depression when I have hormone imbalance and it comes and goes according to my hormones. Every time I have had to have different tablets to help and this time it has been 2 years and they are still trying to find the right one for me this time. My thoughts and panic and anxiety always goes so low that I get suicidal so have to go into hospital at times to get help. I have terrible mood swings and this time i have no social life because I hate noise and meeting people, even really good friends. I have also tried things like meditation and mindfulness and these are of great help too. I have gone back to work for the past year full time but it takes all more my mental strength to concentrate and be 'normal' at work all day so that I have no energy left for home life or socialising. It is a very difficult illness as so individual and you need to find what helps you. This forum is great for friendly advice and support - just knowing other people can understand what you are going through can help lots.
