Nice to meet you both!!
(Locksey) No actually I remember my first panic attack, it was as soon as my uncles visitation for the funeral was over. I mean back then I did not know what it was, but now I do! I started taking 10mg of paxil when I was seven years old.

Hi. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety for years as well. I've been on meds since I was 15. I recently began to have panic attacks again and found this forum. It's been very helpful for me, hopefully it will be for you too. :)

Yep.... No tips :-(
Basically I live my life with boundaries / limits etc as in , there are things I won't /cnt do , for example , i cnt go on public transport.. I like to have my car with me so I'm not trapped anywhere and other things and then I've had times where it's really bad and I'm scared to go outside , scared to even wake-up and sum years bak I had to give my managers job up and was off wrk 4 nearly a year.

I pretty much do anything! I still have some anxiety everyday and I do suffer from bouts of depression. I have always been a obsessive thinker over my health! Tips I can offer is if your afraid to do something, "DO IT!" Like if your afraid of driving in a particular area or just anything you have to do it! My very first psychiatrist told me you always have to face the fear no matter how much anxiety it causes you. I know that is like so easier said than done. I have always been afraid of driving the expressway for example but I do it! It causes me anxiety alot of the time but I keep doing it. I know this may sound like a cop out to some people and alot of people believe in natural ways and thats great but thats not great for me. What has been a life saver for my anxiety is Klonopin. I have been taking it for four years and it gets me through everyday life. Some days I don't even need it. I have honestly come to terms that I will probaly have some type of anxiety the rest of my life and if I have to take this pill the rest of my life well i'm gonna do it.

Im on prozac and klonopin and needed. Klonopin does help when i need it
Good to meet you and sorry you had problems since so young. I have had bouts of post natal depression over past 28 years but only usually last 5-6 months because hormones sort themselves and anti depressants help me. But this time hormone imbalance because of age and can't find hormones or anti depressants to work for last 2 years so even worse than in past and feelings of suicide lot worse this time.

Lin suicide is definitely not the answer. I know anxiety can be so damn hard and frustrating and days you do feel like dying because you don't feel like your living. Trust me I have felt that way countless times but I will never do something like that. I have been on loads of anti-depressants. Paxil is the only one that has ever really helped me but it has this effect to stop working, I have not been on it in about three years so my doctor decided to put me back on it 20mg I have not started yet. He said that if it stops working sometimes you have to stop it for a month and then start again. So hopefully my depression will look up because I still have loads of anxiety but im depressed ALOT
It sounds like you understand your depression and anxiety and it is good when tablets are working for you. The problem this time for me is that they can't find hormone or anti depressant to help, but every time I try new ones I hope and keep my fingers crossed they are going to work.
