Libido and SSRis

I'm taking 10mg of cipralex (escitalopram) daily for the last 2 years. I didn't put on weight but my libido is a disaster since I started taking it. Do your meds cause the same effect? Any suggestions on ssris I should share with my doctor? I don't take benzos. Many thanks

It affected my drive right away, but kind of went back to normal. That was the first thing I noticed.

How long did that take? I've been on escatalopram for about 3 1/2 months and mine is still pretty much non-existent. I tried some meds to fix it and they worked but made my anxiety way worse.

Wellbutrin XL or something like that. I made me have major depression, which I never usually get.

I mean at first it was hard but now it's easier but still hard.

Maybe try a combo with a benzo? Or a different med? Talk to your doctor how you feel.

Oh and my sex drive has always been high and Meds don't effect it as much as how in feel health and weight wise . But most anti anxiety and depressant Meds of all types seem to have that as a common side effect. When I comes to sex try things you know turns you on... Anything ! Be open, safe and adventurous!!
