I took this for a couple years on and off, it helped me get my head back to normal but the things I did not like about seroquel and will never go on it again is that it made me eat like I was high! Also if you are put on too large of a dose, the most I was on was 200mg it can make you feel like your heart is dropping. If you are or have already tried this medicine I would def do a low dose.

Is it helping you? I know it did help me I just gained so much weight with it. But I mainly took this medication at bedtime that could be why.

I suffer from severe panic disorder & anxiety - it started really bad about 2 months ago. My plan was to go thru therapy & exercise, not use meds. But after weeks of just getting worse & worse i ended up going to my dr. I am on 50mgs zoloft (sertraline) once a day. My appetite went to 0 when i first started taking it i had nausea before i started meds so it heightened it, heart burn everything it was horrible. Now 15 days later all my side effects are completely gone & i am able to eat again. Im able to shower without panic now, havent been left alone or left the house alone yet but slowly getting there.
Maybe try a course of zoloft.

nancy- it is helping so far. i started on 25, then 50, and when that didn't work we went up to the 75.

i've bern on zoloft in the past and it stopped working for me after a few years. i'm taking effexor xr 225 now.

Seroquel has been a lifesaver for me! My panic and anxiety are much more under control because of it. I am also able to sleep at night uninterrupted.
