Surtees method

Has anyone heard of or tried the surtees method for anxiety and stress?

If so what was your experience like.

It's a strange experience if you've never been hypnotised before but it definitely helps

But don't expect it to make you feel unanxious overnight

I'd recommend it

There's 3 20 minute sessions, usual thing, dark, warm room, complete relaxation

It basically puts you under, and tries to retrain your sub conscious to not feel stress & anxiety

The thoughts won't go, but you will deal with them without panicking

The point is the less you panic, the less you get the thoughts

That's the catch, you only listen to them once

I went on a limb & done it twice as I was struggling so badly

They're separated over 5 days

I done it, and was pissed off I wasn't feeling less anxious instantly

But as time went on, the panicking drew less

I still wouldn't say I'm at 100% mind you , I only done it about a month back

I have done the first of three sessions of the surtess method on anxiety. June 2014.

Hi Harry,

Did you do the Surtees method online or with Aaron in person? Its a bit difficult for me to get to London at the moment so am thinking of giving the online option a go.
