Missed atenolol dose

Last night I missed my nightly 12.5 mg dose of atenolol . This morning I woke up and my heart is beating fast and my heart rate Is up. I just missed that small dose is this normal or am I thinking about it too much as always?!?!?!??

Just took my bp and its a lot higher than normal this is freaking me out !!!!! Is this normal?

50mg is the normal dose(so your is low dose) so I think your just anxious about it. I used to take that and it has a long half life so at that dose you'll should be fine. Yeah if you're anxious your pulse and BP will be up. Take 1/2 dose when you can and resume normal schedule. Alankay
