Tomorrow doctors appt

I'm always going to the doc, getting something checked. Everything I've had tested had come back normal. I'm going tomorrow to have spots looked at for skin cancer. My grandfather had melanoma removed, but he was about 75 when it happened.

I'm so afraid that one of these days, the news isn't going to be normal. It's going to be grim. I'm afraid of that happening tomorrow. I'm so scared. I wasn't worried too much about this at all until my 30 yr old friend was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma.

I see EVERYTHING as a sign... So many symptoms. So much worry.

You will be ok. I have all the signs of certain illnesses too, but I don't have it. And let's just say that you are diagnosed with something (worst case scenario) at least you will know and it can be treated.

Try googling "centre for clinical intervention health anxiety" and follow the excellent module they have there. It helped me tremendously!!

You are not alone, lots of people suffer from this. The good news is that is actually quite easy to overcome!
