Hi please help, I'm in a right state, just when I've 'almost' convinced myself it's anxiety, my eye sight went funny, blobby, then tried to read something and couldn't see the words to the far right. Please help I'm freaking out can anxiety do this??

I mean if you're having an attack I think that can bring about vision problems but it doesn't sound like it's from anxiety, but then again I'm no doctor... :( I don't think anxiety did it in this case.

Well, it was weird, never had anything like that before. I'm wondering if it's because I was looking at my daughter who was sat in her buggy on a patterned liner, it's white with purple marks on it, the first time I used it today, I then looked away at a boy in the queue and I couldn't see him properly, I'm wondering if it was the purple blotches from the liner in my vision, but because of my anxiety I freaked out and that made my vision funny? In the next shop I couldn't see properly and I picked a leaflet up to read it and couldn't see the words to the right, it's gone now but just got a massive headache. So, other than that, maybe it was the start of a migraine, never had one before but maybe all this anxiety is starting to give me migraines!

Ok, my rational mind has come into play (after googling I'm afraid to say), and I am happy that I have had a migraine - with aura, which is what the visual thing was before the headache. Have been very tired lately been up at night with my daughter etc. well it was freeeeeaky! We'll all get there i'm sure. Thanks to all who replied :-)

I have had blinding vision spots in one eye before with no noticeable anxiety before it. Just another symptom. Been checked out by eye doc and even he told me stress and anxiety can cause visual disturbances. I get a lot of depth perception problems when high stressed.
